This beautiful heritage listed building was needing a refresh internally for DHL’s Brisbane head office, Power-Comm provided two full floors and ground level reception area with electrical upgrades including installing office & feature lighting, energy efficient sensor-controlled lighting, exit & emergency lighting, general power, molex Cat 6A structed cabling system and fibre back bone. Power-Comm also provided a backup generator with 100% backup capability to bring this historical building into the modern age.

Following demolition works & temporary power & lighting provided to maintain egress for the building’s tenants, awning & feature lighting were installed, creating a halo of lights surrounding the entrance as the flow continues from the lighting installed through the ground level lift lobby to match the aesthetic. End of Trip facilities lighting and automated Dynalite lighting control system were also installed to compliment this building’s commitment to sustainability. A fire rated submain & phone line for the PWD lift were installed to provide greater access to this building. And for safety, a traffic control system installed in the lower-level and exit & emergency lighting installed throughout the lift lobby.

Power-Comm provided assistance to builders ensuring redundant circuits were made safe and all remaining circuits were isolated during the demolition process. Temporary power and lighting were also provided to ensure safety for all contractors working onsite for this refurbishment. To create the sleek & crisp feel of the building, Power-Comm installed the prominent numbered feature lighting as well as energy efficient sensor lighting for the bathrooms, general lighting for the foyer area, lighting and power for the new End of Trip facility.

Qantas Club International Business Lounge – Brisbane Airport
As pinnacle customer service Qantas area, Power-Comm provided general & feature lighting including Dynalite sensor & dimmer controls and LED lighting upgrades throughout the club to create an open and flowing premium space. A series of bench GPOs for customer accessibility and power for the various display screens throughout the club were also provided. The bathroom lighting installed provided lustrous elegance to match the ambience of the club. Power-Comm also provided refurbishments for the Qantas Club’s back of house facilities and buffet areas to ensure the Qantas staff were always well equipped to service all their customers’ needs.

Tesla Showroom & Service Centre – 1062 Ann St
Working with one of the most well-known and contemporary companies in the world to provide a fantastic new showroom & service centre, Power-Comm provided Telsa with all their electrical essentials needed display and maintain their unique products including general power & lighting and Tesla charging stations. Exit & emergency lighting was installed throughout the building and data & comms system connected to provide speed and reliability for Telsa when interacting with their customers.

As a well-known global furniture & home décor retailer, Pottery Barn’s new Brisbane store required Power-Comm to utilise our project team’s creativity & flair to design and install an array of electrical equipment such as general power, automated lighting & data systems to meet the demands of store’s vibrant retail space. With many of the electrical fittings being custom made, Power-Comm perfectly created an atmosphere to meet the brand’s sophisticated style.

As part of the ground floor foyer upgrade, Power-Comm brought seamless and sophisticated linear lighting design to this building. This project utilised the sharp and clean symmetrical aesthetic throughout the foyer area including LED strip lighting in the ceiling bulk heads that carry out this sleek style from the foyer out onto the building’s awning. With the addition of wall and down lighting throughout the foyer to compliment this ceiling lighting, this creates an inviting space for all customers.
